Advanced Hardwoods was founded in 2001 by JJ Snyder as way for landowners to get the best value for their timber and to promote sustainable practices for managing your natural resources. In 2007 David Miller joined the team bringing years of experience in the industry as well and together, Advanced Hardwoods is a start to finish operation from buying standing timber to our sawmill creating finish grade lumber. By working with us to sell your timber you eliminate the middle man or broker, which enables you to secure a higher price for your timber.
Our professional staff will work with landowners to customize a timber harvesting plan that will improve the overall health of the timber stand. Standing timber is one of the greatest renewable resources in Ohio. When logged correctly it offers several benefits to the property in addition to financial compensation to the landowner.
